Personally, I'm both a Sakura and a Sasuke fan, but this is one of the things that makes me dislike Sasuke. I, for one, wouldn't be able to leave after someone begged me to stay like that. I just don't have it in me. And truthfully, I cried when I first saw this. Both in Japanese and English. In fact, I still get teary-eyed when I see this. Enjoy.
