Background info:
This fanfic is basically an alternate way of how Sasuke leaves Konoha. There is one major history change. Itachi and Kisame never went to the leaf, and Tsunade is the Hokage. The fanfic takes place soon after Tsunade becomes Hokage.

It was a normal morning. The sun was shining, ninja were on missions, and some children went to the Ninja Academy. And it would be a normal morning, except for a few individuals. Sasuke Uchiha was at the training field, working out. This is the place where it all began. Just as Sasuke was about to punch a log, a figure appeared before him. He had seen this man before. Sasuke: "Orochimaru..."
Orochimaru: "Well, well, I've found you, Sasuke."
Sasuke: "I'm not joining you! Not now, not ever!"
Orochimaru: "How sad. I was just about to ask you. It seems I'll have to persuade you..." Just then two cloaked figures walked out of the bushes. They stopped at the sight of Sasuke and Orochimaru. One took off a hat he was wearing. ???: "Kisame, you go on ahead." The other cloaked figure did as told, and nobody stopped it. Sasuke's heart was pounding. Orochimaru smirked. Sasuke: "Itachi... Uchiha!"
Orochimaru: "What a chance meeting. Both Uchiha, here. What do you want, Itachi?" Silence for a second, and then Itachi spoke. Itachi: "I want you to leave Sasuke alone. He doesn't need your pathetic excuse for power." Sasuke was shocked. Had he just protected his brother? Sasuke: "I don't need your help, either!"
Itachi: "Sasuke, do you want Orochimaru to kill me? Or would you rather do it yourself?"
Sasuke: "What kind of question is that?!" Orochimaru suddenly lunged at Sasuke, attempting to kidnap him. Itachi stood in the way. Itachi: "Leave, or I will be forced to kill you."
Orochimaru: "Ha, kill me? I am immortal!" Orochimaru stepped back. A battle was inevitable. Itachi: "Sasuke, the question I asked you earlier... if you join Orochimaru, you will not be the one to kill me." Sasuke gulped. Two great powers were about to clash. Sasuke: "I'm not letting you have all the fun, Itachi!" Sasuke grabbed a Kunai from his pocket. Itachi: "Hmph, it seems we will be fighting as brothers."
Sasuke: "Shut up! You're next, after Orochimaru!" *Battle Begins*
